The National Cooperative Freight Research Program (NCFRP) and the National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) are jointly sponsoring the research, Truck Tolling - Understanding Industry Tradeoffs When Using or Avoiding Toll Facilities. The project is intended to improve understanding of the value proposition that toll facilities pose for goods movement business - under what circumstances, and to what extent, do toll facilities offer added value that would warrant payment of tolls?
